There are so many beautiful parks to visit in Sheffield and here are just a few.
Graves Park
Graves Park is made up of a large parkland area and a small animal farm. If you like animals then this is a really nice little day out. There is a range of animals to be seen or the peaceful park is great to have a picnic.
Botanical Gardens
Located close to Collegiate campus this park has some stunning instagramable views. There is a beautiful range of plants and perfectly maintained gardens. An amazing place to have a picnic in the nice warm sun. Even a nice place to have a stroll between those dreaded lectures and study sessions at the library.
Endcliffe Park
This is one of the most popular parks during summertime. It’s a great park to sit back and relax in the sun with your friends. There is woodland area that you can also adventure into.
Weston Park
This beautiful park is in close proximity to the University of Sheffield. This makes it a great place to sit and enjoy lunch and relax after your studies. In the summer the atmosphere is exquisite and often the ice cream van visits so you can enjoy an ice cream cone with spectacular views.
Crookes Valley Park/Ponderosa
Also located close to the University of Sheffield, this is a really pretty park in summertime. The cherry blossom trees make the park look amazing along with the pond which makes for some great pictures.
